You cannot apply for 2026 — that round is closed. Resource Central stopped accepting Lawn Replacement applications after the season filled. The one useful step right now is joining the 2027 interest list at resourcecentral.org/lawn/interestlist. When the next round opens you will apply at resourcecentral.org/lawn with a photo of the area, confirmation of at least 200 sq ft of turf, and a plan for the new landscape.
No. Resource Central closed 2026 Lawn Replacement applications after the round filled — the program removed close to 350,000 square feet of lawn across Colorado this season. Slots have always been limited and first-come, which is why it ran out mid-year. A 2027 round has not been announced yet, so the interest list is the way to hear about it first.

Resource Central's other programs are still running even though lawn replacement is closed: you can preorder Garden In A Box kits for pickup, book a free Slow the Flow sprinkler evaluation, and attend free online Waterwise Yard seminars. None of them pay for turf removal, but the sprinkler evaluation in particular cuts outdoor water use now, and the garden kits are the same plant palettes the rebate program uses.
