Austin Turf Rebate $1/sq ft

You qualify if all of these apply:

• Austin Water customer — service address must receive an Austin Water utility bill
• 200+ sq ft of existing irrigated turf grass
• Turf must be at least 75% healthy and living — sparse, patchy, or mostly dead grass does not qualify
• You are the property owner (or have written owner consent if renting)
• Work must be performed during a designated installation window (Spring or Fall)
• You have not started any work — pre-approval required before removal

You will be disqualified if any of these apply:

• Started work before receiving pre-approval from Austin Water
• Turf was less than 75% healthy living grass at the time of pre-approval inspection
• Installed or removed plants outside the designated installation windows
• Less than 200 sq ft converted
• Replaced turf with artificial grass or impermeable concrete/pavement
• Did not convert irrigation in the project area to drip or efficient low-water method
• Replacement plants not from the approved WaterWise plant list
