You qualify if all of these apply:

City of Surprise water customer at the project address
500+ sq ft of warm-season Bermuda grass — OR removing all turf if total lawn is under 500 sq ft
Pre-eligibility approval received before removing any grass
Replacing turf with drought-tolerant landscaping (no artificial turf)

You will be disqualified if any of these apply:

Removed grass before receiving pre-eligibility approval
Warm-season Bermuda grass area was less than 500 sq ft and not all turf was removed
Cool-season grass (not Bermuda) submitted — program targets warm-season turf
Did not follow post-removal landscaping requirements
Removed area exceeded 1,000 sq ft cap without prior approval
